Charlestown
Charlestown has become a neighborhood for those who want to be in close proximity to downtown Boston, but live in an area full of a colonial feel. Perched on the north side of the Charles River, Charlestown is rich in charm and architecture.
One can find quaint apartments, condos and the occasional historic single family scattered around, especially in the gaslight district.
Points of interest in Charlestown include The Navy Yard, home to the USS Constitution or “Old Ironsides,”the Bunker Hill Monument which is at the end of the famous Freedom Trail along and Bunker Hill Community College.
